We believe it is extremely important to avoid approaching any patient in a routine manner, but rather approach each one individually with a "clean slate". We realize that each patient and case must be treated with a special care and sensitivity to their own unique set of needs and circumstances. Here's how we implement this quality at Sonshine Dental Care:

1 - Each treatment plan is designed for the individual patient, providing only what the patient truly needs or wants.

2 - We do not take x-rays(radiographs)routinely on every patient, but only when needed or beneficial.

3 - We do not provide pit & fissure sealants routinely in every child, but only when indicated and beneficial or at the parents request.

4 - We provide informed choices or options for patients to choose from regarding various treatment needs or desires.

5 - We divide our non-critical treatment into phases to allow patients to decide when implementation of treatment would be most appropriate and reasonable.

6 - Each patient's examination and cleaning frequency is based on personal needs, not an automatic recall time period.

7 - We allow one parent in the treatment room during treatment of younger children if desired.
