Thank you for considering Sonshine Dental  Care. Our practice is dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ and serving others through Him. We hope that He will be glorified in all that we do. We also hope that you will find our practice to be very unique and special.  We are committed to building our practice on what we truly believe to be the very best orthodontic and dental care. We also commit our practice daily not only to the needs of individual patients, but to the needs of their entire family. Because we are so dedicated to serving families, we have chosen to daily embrace four primary qualities that would be truly important to all families when it comes to their orthodontic and dental care.

Our Guarantee:

We guarantee that we will strive to do our very best in providing patient care. However, in working with individuals and the imperfect human body, we cannot guarantee results. While we strive for the best, we are not perfect. We are not God. But we do ask Him for wisdom and discernment in diagnosis, skill in treatment and help in healing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

For the protection of  our patients and to enable our practice to be as effective as possible, we are not open to the general public. This does not mean that we don't accept  new patients, because we in fact do on a regular basis. There are many advantages to the methods we employ at Sonshine Dental Care (including cost and effectiveness). These methods do however often require a good amount of participation and cooperation on the part of the patient  and, in the case of younger patients, accountability on the part of the parents for them to be effective. If these components are not present in the treatment stages, treatment is rendered ineffective. Based on our experience with past and present patients, we are usually able to foresee these kinds of problems and we do our best to  avoid this scenario entirely. It is not good for the patient, and it is not good for us.

We would absolutely love to have the opportunity to provide the excellence in care found at Sonshine Dental Care to you and your family. Most of the treatments that we offer at Sonshine Dental Care are indeed less expensive for our patients, far more effective, and provide more permanent results more quickly, but these advantages sometimes come at a small price. You see, several of our unique orthodontic treatments require a bit more patient compliance and/or assistance than required by traditional orthodontic treatments. It is so extremely worth it and such a small price to pay to have the healthiest and most beautiful smile possible! If you are open to and willing to do your part in helping Dr. Nieten get you the best results for you or your child in a reaonable amount of time, he would be more glad to help you. But if you are not at all interested in being involved in your dental or orthodontic treament in any way, then it is probable that Sonshine Dental Care is not the best place for you to seek treatment.

Our practice is not for everyone. If you find yourself having difficulty with this or any of the other perspectives expressed on this website, this dental practice may not be the best choice for you or your family. For this reason we have an application process we ask our new potential patients to complete. Direct (hands on) patient care is available only through acceptance of this application, and is then received only by appointment.

Those who are like-minded and whole-hearted to the nature of our dental practice will absolutely be accepted for direct patient care. Our goal is not to exclude anyone, but rather to simply include only those individuals who are on the same page with us ... like-minded and whole hearted.

 

You don't have to be anything special to qualify, you just need to understand our goals and desire to be a part of them. We would love to have you as a part of our practice, we just want to make sure it would be best for all of us.
